Qi Thought of the Day…

Confidence is magnetic like a bee to a flower…

Believe you can and you will…

Believe you will be and you are…

Believe in the goals you set and there will be no reason not to achieve them!!!

I don’t quite agree with this statement because sometimes will is not power, this is to say that no matter how hard we believe in our goals or dreams they might never happen or we will never achieve them for several rational reasons. It’s indeed a beautiful thought but in real life things don’t always happen nevertheless how much you want them. Just my opinion 🙂

Hi Paula! I very much appreciate and value your comments, and apologize for not getting back to you sooner! I agree that sometimes our goals and dreams never come to fruition. It is then that we need to do a “goal or dream modification”. Without setting goals and dreaming we could never improve ourselves or the circumstances that we are in. Your daily pain is something that unfortunately can only be altered by a small margin and sometimes not at all. However, the personal goals that are based in reality can be continually adjusted. You are right though, these goals and dreams should be based in reality. I gave up reaching for the professional triathlete dream a long time ago, but I have modified my goals to include doing some more cognitive based challenges with an element of physicality. Like the song from Eric Clapton, “It’s in the way that you use it.” I hope that the realistic goals and dreams that you have, never die and that if you don’t reach them now, that someday you do!!! Always wishing you the best and hoping for less painful days, -Michele 🙂
